For the inclusion of new technologies in the health benefits plan (PBS), the Colombian Ministry of Health requires following the methodology established by the IETS, to determine the relevance of including such technologies in the PBS. The nomination process must follow a strict series of steps that include a effectiveness and safety evaluation, economic evaluation and budget impact analysis.
Our team has significant experience in filling out the nomination forms and given the quality of our work, several of the products evaluated have been taken into account by the Ministry of Health and Social Protection.
In 2018, only 44 technologies, which applied to enter the benefits plan under the UPC, passed the IETS quality filter. Of these 4 were carried out by NeuroEconomix. The results of the IETS quality evaluations of our work support our quality and differential.
